LE Design Consultants are interior specialists, with the skills to provide services ranging from initial design consultations through to styling and decoration, documentation and full fit-out.
Mother, fabric lover, coffee drinker. With beginnings in retail buying, visual merchandising and styling, Larissa made the move eight years ago into residential interior decorating and design. Having had the honour of her work being featured in magazines as well as being listed in House & Garden’s Little Black Book (The Best of the Best Interior Specialists), Larissa has established her presence in the design market and has broadened her brand now working on commercial projects that request her signature style.
“Where possible, I love working with natural, quality materials, such as linen, stone and timber; their raw appeal is incredibly cooperative when designing beautiful spaces”
Food, wine, design. In 2017, Larissa, in collaboration with business partner Mel, started Cru (nominated 2019 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards) - A design studio adjoining a swanky licensed cafe offering custom retail pieces and easily accessible design services. Being a creative hot spot, Cru also hosts various workshops and showcases an impressive range of homeware.
“The idea was to take the stigma away from the design process, in that it can be a somewhat unapproachable industry - get to know us through good food, coffee and workshops, become acquainted with customisable pieces and their beauty and function and perhaps consider a purchase or consultation that you wouldn’t have previously”
The work of LE Design featured in House & Garden’s May 2012 issue, an Edwardian style Queenslander previously owned and renovated by Larissa herself. Since then her skills as a designer and decorator have been recognised in House & Garden’s ‘Little Black Book’, which creates a celebratory snapshot of the best in building, renovating and decorating in Australian design.
